Do not make the mistake of buying low quality security camera kits offered at local retail supermarkets, computer stores, random online websites or private sellers.  These are low quality and refurbished cameras packaged as new, mass produced in China and do not last more then a few months.  In addition, these camera kits feature short pre-made cables and refurbished chip set.  Do not be foloed by false advertisement labels invented to fool an average consumer.  For example, there is a very big difference between a $29  5MP camera and an authentic $900  5MP camera.  Certainly they both cannot be both the exact same quality.
